Celia

Licensed Professional Counselor

Insurance: CareOregon

Please note: Coverage may vary by provider — our team is happy to verify your benefits before your first appointment.

Celia offers individual counseling for people navigating complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, chronic illness, parenting challenges, and the perinatal period. She centers attention and care on the nervous system, helping clients gently shift out of overwhelm and survival mode and return to connection, clarity, and flow.

Her approach is warm and collaborative, grounded in a trauma informed and attachment oriented lens, and always honors clients’ strengths and inner wisdom. Celia is continually inspired by the resilience and unique gifts each client brings to the therapeutic space.

In her work, Celia draws from somatic psychotherapy, EMDR, parts work, mindfulness based practices, and expressive arts therapy. Clients who enjoy creativity, imagination, or body based awareness in therapy often find her approach especially supportive. She also works with neurodivergent individuals, celebrating and exploring the many ways our brains process information and discovering what best supports each person’s healing.

Celia is licensed as a Professional Counselor in Oregon and as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is a Postpartum Support International Provider and is currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mental Health, including advanced study in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Celia is trained in EMDR and is working toward certification with additional training in Ego States, Complex PTSD, Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders, Neurodivergent Informed EMDR (Autism and ADHD), and Expressive Arts Therapy and Sensory Integration through Rebecca Kase & Co. She also holds Reiki Levels I and II from FireBird Healing Arts Alliance in Portland, Oregon.

Celia looks forward to connecting with you.
