  • Bridges Therapy — One of the biggest pediatric behavioral health providers in the Portland area. Offers therapy for children, teens, and families

  • The Children's Program — Focused specifically on children’s mental health and developmental support. Good option for younger children and coordinated family care. 

  • Portland Therapy Center — Not a clinic itself, but a very useful directory where you can filter therapists.

  • Children's Play Therapy — Play-therapy focused practice for younger children.

  • Sprout Therapy PDX — Provides therapy for children, teens, families, and relationships.

  • Jewish Family & Child Service — Counseling for children, teens, couples, and families; accepts OHP and offers sliding scale support. 

  • Raising Brave Kids — specializes in child anxiety and OCD using CBT/ERP.

  • Positive Behavior Supports — ABA and behavioral support services for autism/developmental disabilities.

  • Align Counseling — Works with young children, adolescents, foster youth, developmental disabilities, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and family therapy.

 
Washington —
  • Arcadia Psychotherapy — Offers therapy for children, teens, and families statewide. 

  • Femme and Them — LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy practice serving families and youth across Washington via telehealth. Accepts:

  • Northwest ABA — ABA/autism support provider serving Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Lynnwood, and surrounding areas.

  • Seattle Children's Magnuson — One of the largest pediatric behavioral health systems in Washington

  • New Ground Counseling  — Specialized child therapy clinic in Snohomish focused on: play therapy, anxiety, trauma, grief, behavioral issues, family counseling

  • Una Therapy Group — Washington practice serving children, teens, and families with both in-person and statewide telehealth.

  • Grit City Counseling — Tacoma-based counseling group with statewide telehealth

  • Whole Child Therapy Services — Strong option for younger children needing: occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral/developmental support, autism-related services

Oregon —
  • Parenting Now — Offers parenting groups, infant support, parent education, and home visiting programs in Lane County.

  • The Family Connection — Provides free parenting workshops, support groups, and family events in Jackson and Josephine counties.

  • Family Resource Center — Free parenting classes, parent support groups, caregiver workshops, family activities, Zoom and in-person options.

  • Hacienda CDC – Sembrando Semillitas — Culturally specific support program for Latino families with children under 5.

  • Healthy Families Oregon — Free statewide home-visiting and parenting support program for families with young children. 

 
Washington —
  • Circle of Parents — One of the best-known free parenting peer support programs in WA. Parent-led groups with trained facilitators

  • PEPS — Popular parent peer-support organization offering: expecting parent groups, newborn support groups, toddler/child development discussions, workshops

  • PREPARES — Free family support network serving parents from pregnancy through age 5.

  • Washington Family Support Network — Statewide network of Family Resource Centers offering: parenting support, food/basic needs help, play groups, family activities, referrals, community support

  • WithinReach — Connects families to: Medicaid/Apple Health, parenting resources, developmental services, food and childcare support

  • Portland DBT Institute – Provides DBT programs and skills training groups, often delivered via telehealth across Oregon. Portland DBT Institute

  • The DBT Clinic – Offers DBT-oriented group therapy and skills training. Good to check about insurance options. The DBT Clinic

  • Oregon City DBT, LLC – DBT skills group with rolling enrollment via Zoom; reimbursable by many plans (ask about yours). Oregon City DBT

Neurodivergent & Combined Groups
  • Unmasked & Understood (AuDHD / ADHD / Autism) - A neurodivergent meetup group in Portland for adults who identify as autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or both — focused on low-pressure connection, conversation, and mutual support in a sensory-friendly environment. Meetup - ADHD/ Autism Support Groups 

  • Portland Rainbow Brains – Neurodivergent Adults Meetup - A neurodivergent social + support group with opportunities for online chatting and in-person meetups, welcoming autistic, ADHD, AuDHD folks and allies — inclusive LGBTQIA2S+ space. PDX Rainbow Brains - ADHD/ Autism Support Groups

  • PDX Autistic Adults (Facebook Group) - A private Facebook group aimed at adults on the autism spectrum in the Portland, Oregon area. (Joining usually involves requesting access via the FB group page.) Autism Society of Oregon

  • Autistic Self Advocacy Portland (AASAPDX) - A peer-facilitated support group run by and for autistic adults in the Portland metro area, focusing on discussions about adult life challenges, community, and personal goals. NAMI Resources

  • D&D Group Therapy from Full Spectrum Therapy - LGBTQ+ neurodivergent–friendly adult group using D&D as a therapeutic and community building tool. Full Spectrum Therapy

  • Alive Counseling Clinic – Dungeons & Dragons Therapy Group - Accepts several insurance plans (including Oregon Health Plan/OHP, Providence, Kaiser, and PacificSource) and has sliding-scale rates (~$25–$35/session). Alive Counseling Clinic

Community & Casual D&D — Low/Free Cost - 

If you’re looking for casual gaming groups that aren’t therapy-related, these are usually inexpensive or free — great for meeting players and starting campaigns:

  • D&D Newbie Sessions – groups exist for Seattle and Portland and you can join events listed for your area. D&D Newbie Session

  • Online group finders like Nerd Culture’s D&D Group Finder — lets you search for local Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Portland, and Vancouver (WA) games. Nerd Culture

  • Tabletop One-Shots & Drop-In Games in Portland/Hillsboro - Queer gaming nights and tabletop events that include RPGs (occasionally D&D); typically free or donation-based. Queen Social Club

  • Game Stores & Community Boards - Local game stores often host weekly events or have boards where players post looking for groups. Other Worlds
