Paul “River” is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is inspired to support adults, teenagers, and couples on their journeys of transformation. River creates a welcoming and collaborative space where people can courageously examine their struggles, rediscover their strengths, and reconnect with internal and external sources of meaning, satisfaction, and empowerment.

Drawing from an expansive toolkit, River works with each client to design a customized therapeutic approach that fits their unique needs and context. Commonly used tools include mindfulness practices, nature based resources, and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT).

At the heart of River’s practice is a deep respect for the unfolding process of each moment and the understanding that both suffering and resilience are part of the human experience. Through curiosity, compassionate presence, and clear reflection, River is honored to accompany clients as they explore and expand their growing edges.
