Hello. My name is Brigid, and I am dedicated to providing affirming, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive care. I believe that clients are the experts of their own experiences, and I approach therapy as a collaborative and reciprocal process grounded in curiosity, respect, and shared learning.

My work is informed by Black feminist theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), queer theory, liberation psychology, Health at Every Size® (HAES), and narrative therapy. I support clients in deepening self-understanding and reconnecting with agency and self-compassion. Rooted in Disability Justice values, my practice prioritizes accessibility, Covid safety, and anti-ableist principles in every aspect of care.

I work with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of experiences, with particular focus on disordered eating and body image, neurodivergence, queer identity, queer fertility and perinatal mental health, racial identity, relationships, and burnout. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that honors both personal and systemic contexts of healing.

As a Black, mixed-race, queer, neurodivergent, cisgender woman, I continually explore how my intersecting identities inform my work. Guided by Maya Angelou’s words—“none of us can be free until everybody is free”—I approach therapy as both an individual and collective journey toward liberation and healing.
